EMILY HAMPSHIRE

Montreal native Emily Hampshire is best known for starring as “Stevie Budd” in the record breaking CBC/Netflix comedy series SCHITT’S CREEK opposite Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara; Hampshire has won six consecutive Best Supporting Actress  in a Comedy awards at the Canadian Screen Awards and has received a 2021 SAG Award Win for the role. She will next star opposite Paul Bettany and James Spader in the Disney+ Marvel series VISION QUEST  - she will play the sophisticated artificial intelligence E.D.I.T.H. (Even Dead, I’m The Hero). Hampshire also recently shot the 20th Century Studios feature Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice opposite Vince Vaughn and starred opposite Iain Glen and Martin Compston in the Amazon series The Rig. She is currently shooting the Crave comedy series SLO PITCH which she also executive produces. Hampshire is also an accomplished writer – she wrote the acclaimed graphic novel Amelia Aierwood: Basic Witch, recently released by Z2 Comics and has multiple projects in development as a writer, including a project with fellow Canadian Elliot Page and his Page Boy Productions.
